I tried again this year to participate in ScriptFrenzy, by the same people who do NaNoWriMo, but I am finding that I am just not a script writer. When I do write my own stories and novels, I do dialogue and only dialogue frequently, but I don't have to stop and add in names, etc. I just keep going with the words until I run out of them. My goal this year was to 'win' all the writing events they have. So I'm a bit disappointed at myself for not winning this one, but my brain just doesn't think the way it needs to to crank out a script.
Made it back to my most favorite place in the world, the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. I renewed my year-long pass (expired one year ago). For once I didn't take as many pictures as I usually do, since I've been there approximately 25-30 time (at least one visit per month over a period of years) but I did go see the new exhibit Vanderbilts at Home and Abroad. I recommend it to anyone with an interest in the family and with Titanic. There were a few pieces of Titanic memorabilia on display as well. I have ALWAYS learned something new with each trip. I'm still trying to decide whether to spend my 45th birthday there next year. I would like to stay at the Inn on Biltmore Estate and go horseback riding, take a carriage ride and eat in some of the restaurants on the estate. The only one I have been to is the Stable Cafe, on my 35th birthday.Bought some cool new stitch markers to use with my knitting. Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite so I thought these were appropriate. I got them on Etsy as a custom order.
