Today was nice here in at my home in the country. I went to church with my mom and later we went to pick up some medicine for her, so I was able to run into JoAnn Fabrics and buy some goodies. My friend Teresa is bringing me a desk so I can put my sewing machine back up. The desk will have some drawers for storing some sewing supplies. I can't wait to get it.
I'm planning to make some new curtains for my bedroom. I have store bought ones now, and since I'm into doing my own thing, I want to make my own now. I bought the linen to make the curtains that I would love to look at and give my room a nice soft touch. Now to be on the lookout for a chair I can learn to reupholster.
Right now I'm waiting on some homemade vanilla ice cream. I'm using the Cuisinart ice cream maker found here: http://www.cuisinart.com/products/ice_cream/ice-20r.html - it is awesome - no more ice or rock salt to buy to get the ice cream!!!
